At Inspirative Arts, we aim to inspire growth – so we’re always looking to develop our own expertise and skills.
We’re continually building on our experience and knowledge by undertaking training to enhance our understanding of clients that we work with, for example, Disability awareness, deaf awareness training, understanding the autism spectrum and inclusion training. We are fully DBS checked and have completed Safe Guarding Adults training, Person Centred Risk Assessment training, SCIP and Moving and handling.

Tracey Dangerfield"/>
Tracey is one of the founding members of Inspirative Arts, after gaining her BA Hons Degree in Creative Expressive Therapies. Tracey set up Inspirative Arts in 2009 and is one of our highly experienced specialists working creatively and therapeutically with individuals, along with providing creative meaningful activities in residential care. After working for two years in the care sector, she gained a first-hand insight into the needs of carers and their clients. This is the reason you will find Tracey to be one of the major driving forces behind the business, with a constant desire to improve and inspire the care sector for all those involved. This drive and desire also reflects in her personal life, with her passion towards her own personal development. These characteristics all sound very serious and businesslike, but when it comes down to the bread and butter of the job, you will find Tracey loves to be the centre of attention. She creates a fun-filled and lively environment for everyone attending Inspirative Arts’ workshops, courses, events, and even in the office! Since April 2016 she became a non executive board member where he input steers the direction of the company.
Sarah Paine"/>
Sarah has gained a BA Hons in Creative Expressive and she has worked with young adults as part of her 4 years with Aimigher (government initiative) as well as severely disabled adults while living in Japan for 6 months. Her experiences have enriched and equipped her to deliver workshops and work one to one with a wide range of ages and abilities. As the ‘fiery redhead’ the only fire she creates is the fire of passion for seeing and being part of positive change in the social care sector.Sarah directed her passion into starting Inspirative Arts as she is one of the co-founders. She exerts her energy engaging in creative playful and dramatised techniques for her professional development, whilst also enjoying good cross fit work out and enjoying healthy life style. Her friendly, patient, social personality means you will often see her at marketing events sharing the vision and values of Inspirative Arts!
Philippa Buchanan"/>
Philippa spent many years working in voluntary and public sector management before deciding to change careers, gaining a first class honours degree in Creative Expressive Therapies, specialising in drama. This has enabled Philippa to combine her two passions - creative arts and working with people. Philippa enjoys working at Inspirative Arts, facilitating groups and doing one to one work with clients, using art, drama and movement. She believes in the infinite potential of people, and loves seeing our clients achieve and have fun. Outside of Inspirative Arts Philippa performs with two theatre companies, specialising in Theatre in Education and Playback Theatre; she also holds diplomas in ante and postnatal support, doing family support work for two national charities.
Julian Hall"/>
With more than 20 years experience working in challenging corporate environments and dealing with change programmes, Julian has gained extensive experience in counselling, facilitation and training techniques. Julian has an MBA from Nottingham Business School, has trained with the British Association of Anger Management and is an experienced and qualified practitioner of established coaching tools such as Myers Briggs. Director of two companies, Calm People & Stress Experts, Julian’s work encompasses everything from delivering workshops on how to identify and beat your anger, to helping individuals to combat stress by improving their emotional resilience. Julian’s most recent projects include helping teachers and carers in Rochdale understand anger, working with adults with learning difficulties, working with addiction centres and developing bespoke programmes for companies with call centres.
Rebecca Morley"/>
Rebecca graduated from the University of Derby with her MA in Dramatherapy following her BA Honours in Performance and Professional Practice where she was awarded a first. Since 2015 she has been working for Inspirative Arts in the capacity of both a therapist and as our customer care coordinator. Several years of experience working in a variety of care settings has provided Rebecca with a good understanding of the differing needs of the clients she works with. Rebecca has also worked as a drama teacher for a local academy for over five years adding further skill to her practice. In what spare time she has, Rebecca enjoys releasing her own creativity in performing for local theatre groups. She is passionate about promoting the benefits of different art forms and how these can provide us with transferrable skills that support us through the challenges life presents.

Steph began her journey here as a volunteer in 2013, she caught our attention as she began to blossom and we saw her multi-talented skill set. Steph is now one of our highly skilled Creative Expressive Specialists, she has gained a First Class Honors Degree in Creative Expressive Therapies, and with her experience and natural talent for supporting our clients she has quickly become a valued facilitator. Steph is a compassionate, understanding and caring person – she is our very own super woman who goes around implementing person-centred services for our clients. Steph is hugely passionate about people and making a positive impact in our community; she strongly believes in how the arts can bring positive change. She is well known in the office for her friendly approachable nature and for spreading sparkle and shine wherever she goes. In being a compassionate, understanding and caring person, Steph takes her time to co-ordinate client journeys; from the initial assessment she ensures individuals are accessing the right support, from that point on she over-looks their journey taking the time to review and reflect and ensure all achievements are celebrated. Sharnai Baker"/>
Sharnai is our receptionist and volunteer manager here at Inspirative Arts. Her face will be the first face you see; she will greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Sharnai is currently working towards her level 3 qualification in business and administration. She loves putting smiles on people’s faces and being a helping hand so if ever that is what you need she is your girl! Sharnai loves to be inspired and to inspire others.
