John Sadler

An identified client from Fun Friday who we have employed to help us during the workshops.

A few words from John:

"I like working for Inspirative Arts because it's team work and you work amongst your friends. We do different things every week including a play in Nottingham.

Art makes me unwind and create. Drama helps me express feelings and make friends. I enjoy helping in the workshops. I would like to do a musical."
Volunteering

Please contact us if you wish to discuss offering your support by volunteering to help on any of events.

A big thank you to those who have volunteered for us in the past.

"I am currently studying Creative Expressive Therapies, at Derby University, which looks at ways in working therapeutically with people. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Early years, and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. In 2007, I worked at a special needs camp in New York, USA. This camp catered mainly for adults with profound special needs, where I worked closely with one client for their two week stay.

Now, volunteering for Inspirative Arts allows for me to use and develop on the skills I have learnt from working at the camp as well as using the skills learnt from my studies. I have good communication, enthusiasm and a caring nature, and hope to assist in making the workshops a fun safe space for all."

Currently studying BA Fashion Studies at Derby University.

"I specifically enjoy the marketing and promotional side of my course and have been working on the advertising for Inspirative Arts. I have found it really exciting to work for such a new business and have enjoyed learning how the business runs.

I am currently playing a supportive role in workshops and will work towards facilitating some workshops on my own. Here I will incorporate my skills from my course at University."
